Families are often caught up in the chaos and distress that comes with problem substance use. It is our belief here at Turas that including families of the participants in the process of recovery helps to support both families and service users.
A family support group is a safe, confidential and non-judgemental place for family members of problematic drug/alcohol users to come together to discuss common issues. The group strives to achieve an open, friendly and accessible family support service so that no family has to live with the isolation that problematic drug use can bring.
The North East Family Support Network facilitates a weekly family support group held in Turas on Friday mornings.
Time: Friday, 11.00 am – 12.30 pm
