What is TURAS?
Turas is a not-for-profit community addiction service based in Dundalk, Co. Louth.
We work with people from across the North East region who struggle with addiction issues.
Through motivational work, harm reduction, one-to-one counselling and group therapy we support them to deepen their recovery and forge new lives for themselves.
Our staff include outreach workers and psychotherapists, all of whom have experience specifially working with people in addiction.
Our aim is to create a warm, welcoming and non-judgemental space where people can receive support with their addiction.
Turas is open to anyone requiring support with alcohol or drug addiction.
Referrals can be made by contacting Turas directly.
We know that seeking support initially can be a big step up so our ethos is to provide a warm, welcoming and safe space where clients feel comfortable to open up about their difficulties.
Turas offer a tailored pathway towards personal recovery, by providing a confidential and non-judgmental service for individuals to recover from addiction.
A society where people overcoming addiction can live fulfilling, healthy and substance free lives.
